Rocks...and Puppets!

Last week we continued studying about rocks, focusing on sorting them by size and attributes.

 This week our focus was on making and performing with PUPPETS! Kelly Campbell was our artist in residence, generously provided by the PTA! Check out a video at the end of the pictures - the kids did great!

 March 2 -Last Day of Lunar New Year

We were lucky enough to have the district Mandarin Immersion Teacher Leader visit the class to teach us some Chinese and some wonderful information about the Lunar New year.

We have had a wonderful, fun Filled few weeks....thanks for all of the support from home.  The penguin unit was quite a success! Now...onto rocks...time to understand what our world is built upon!
