Parade Day!

Well, the chickens have found a home and we are wrapping up our study about butterflies...
but today we celebrated in Duniway Style - the annual Duniway Parade!

Oh my goodness! Today we walked into the room welcomed by our newest member of the class - chick #1  The little peeps and feather cuteness was beyond adorable - and the kids are pretty excited, as you can imagine!  Take a look below! We are eagerly awaiting the next hatch!

Butterflies!

We have been learning new ideas about butterflies and how they relate to farms.  Here are a few of the ideas we have researched; we have also been raising painted lady caterpillars - and now we have butterflies!

A day at the farm!

What a wonderful visit to Plumper Farms! Thanks so much to the parents who drove.  This visit was to give us some first hand experience with a real farm as we design our own farms as part of our end of year math study.  Enjoy the pictures!
