Hi everyone!  Today our special person was Noel who told us a great story about going down a mega mountain water slide!  The other students were so excited because they had many stories to tell about going down water slides!

Today we measured distances using "giant feet", otherwise known as a yard!  Here are some pictures of them working on measuring from the classroom to the office and other distances.  They also designed their own giant feet to measure with.  Understanding the concept of measuring (and measurement tools) is part of the Common Core Math Standards.
