Thankful...

Over the past few weeks we have also been learning a bit about the" first" Thanksgiving.  This week we made paper, much like the way people made paper in the time of the Pilgrims (without the glitter of course)

We also thought about the things in our lives we are really thankful for...have a lovely time with your children this Thanksgiving break!

“I am thankful for my family and friends.” Quincy
“I am thankful that my parents let me snuggle up in their bed sometimes.” Annabelle
“I am thankful for a very special stuffy because it helps me feel good and for my family.” Brooklynn
“I am truly thankful for my life.” Noni

“I am thankful for having a sister at my house so I don’t get lonely.” Gregory
“I am thankful for my parents paying money for a food and home.” Reed

Happy Halloween 2018

The excitement in the air in room 13 was evident today... had some Halloween fun as we used candy to think about math.  These graphing activities were followed by using the data from the graph to answer addition, subtraction, and greater than/less than questions.  Hope you had a great night!

And one more picture from home!
