Field Trips

We were busy this week learning outside of the classroom.  Our trip to Oak's Park skating rink really proved that our class is so brave, and willing to get back up after we fall.

The next day we walked a few miles to Crystal Springs to enjoy another wetlands and each other's company. Thanks to Mrs. Neff for the cracked corn to feed the ducks!

Animal Reports

Wow, did your children work hard over the past 2 months researching and writing reports about animals.  Many students also created projects that enhanced their expertise about their animal, then showed those projects to others.  Take a look! Reed also wrote and recorded his own song and Lila created a digital slideshow.

Parade and Wetlands projects

We were so busy on Friday!
We finished our week of wetlands study by showing each other our projects and the most important thing we learned about the wetlands.  We also had a great time in the Duniway parade - some great storybook characters - Harry Potter inspired, Jungle Book, Madeline, even Plants vs Zombies! We had our bubble wands and great smiles on too!
