Thursday April 30

Today was "day 2" for students to work on their self designed polar habitat projects.  They will present these projects to each other and to their fifth grade buddies tomorrow!

During math, the students were completing probability experiments with a "bug spinner".  Pairs of mathematicians had to predict the probability of landing on a ladybug or preying mantis, then test their prediction.  Here are a few pictures of their work:
