We were very busy today learning our book of the week and poem of the week. Our poem had many interesting facts about harvester ants, which are the type of ants in our ant farm.
During math, we wondered if there was a reason why the numbers, when counting by three, had this pattern:
3- odd
6- even
9 - odd
12- even
15- odd
18- even
21- odd
24- even
27- odd
30 - even
We tried out a few things and discovered a rule:
